The Herdcast – Episode #58

Remember when Edition

Lance starts the show off with a laugh, after he messed up the intro twice! We then chatted about his good fortune this week. John lets us know why he changed the name of this weeks show.

A run down of pink in the rink and ehlers return had the boys looking upward, but the team turned in 2 less than stellar outings in Saint John and Bathurst, and soured the mood of the show.

Joey gave us a call and lead us into our Moose News.

Lance & John decided not to get too deep into the off-ice issues surrounding the team this week. Instead, they discussed a hockey news article between Fucale & Luongo, as well as the possibility that the Mooseheads could outdraw the Florida Panthers this year.

Lance brought up a very interesting article during the Q news portion of the show. is the link of the article they discussed. A great read on Education & mental health of CHL players. 3 stars and CHL ranking were next (as always)

For NHLers in the Q, we looked at Drouin going to the AHL, as well as the stat lines for Nate and Mackenzie Weegar. Who else would you like for us to follow this year?

For upcoming games, we were lucky enough to have Screaming Eagles play by play man Pat McNeil on the show. We discussed the Eagles thus far, and who to be on the lookout for this year.

Fantasy Pool update provided us with the current scores of the Week 1 matchup. Look for finals from week 1 next week.

No Beer bets made this week (almost came close) so we await the winner of Lance & John’s fantasy matchup.

Just want to also send out a thank you to Ashley Hennigar and Amy Langdon for providing the site with more content. Things are starting to lookup for the herdcast, now lets hope we can say the same for the team.

Lance sends us out with the Hip again. Look for him at the upcoming Halifax show on April 11th.

Until Next Week.
